Partners

They play an important role in maintaining the high standards we expect, not only in relation to the client interface but also in the competence of those who directly report to them.

Management skills are important in the day to day running of our busy departments and individual portfolios. Enthusiasm and an ability to motivate are the most important attributes of our managers.

We offer constant, regular professional training to develop both your expertise and your skills as a manager.

 

Newly Qualified

Staff working for Knill James always achieve excellent success rates in the professional exams, and our support does not stop once you have qualified. After all, you have proved your capabilities.

Once you have qualified we can provide the opportunity and experience for you to expand your knowledge and improve your skill base. Through continuing professional development, and developing specialist areas if you wish, you can build on the knowledge you have gained. Hard work and commitment are two key elements but the rewards are there for those who take up the challenge!

 

Trainees

We have training programmes for trainees entering at all levels.

We give those entering with “A”-levels the opportunity to qualify with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT). If successful you will be encouraged to progress to the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants (ACCA) or the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA).

Our graduates study with either the ACA or the ACCA.

We provide support for your studies as well as invaluable hands-on experience in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Hard work and enthusiasm are required and in return we will be committed to supporting you.

Our pass rates are exceptional, reflecting the calibre of students we employ and the work experience we can give.

 

Administrators

Our support team is crucial to the successful day to day operations of our business. As our firm expands, we have opportunities in a variety of areas, including marketing, human resources, internal finance and information technology.

Usually staff in our support team cover a number of disciplines and work closely with our professional staff.
