Sussex Farmer of the Year 2011/12 Announced
The Awards Ceremony for the Sussex Food & Drink Awards (SFDA) 2011/2012 was held at the Amex Stadium, Thursday 26 January in front of some 350 guests.
Knill James proudly sponsors the Sussex Farmer of the Year Award which this year was won by the Hooks of Longleys Farm, Hailsham, East Sussex who produce and sell raw organic milk and related dairy products. The two other finalists were the Ashbys of Willetts Farm, Blackham, East Sussex (a diversified farm with an award winning ice cream business) and The Passmores of Church Farm, Coombes, Lancing, West Sussex (former winners of this category who run a mixed farm in an Environmentally Sensitive Area)
Knill James' Partners and Staff would like to congratulate all winners and finalists in the agricultural food and drink sector from across the whole of Sussex who make such an outstanding contribution to promoting local produce in and from the county of Sussex across the whole of the South of England.
