Knill James Corporate Finance team shortlisted for record number of Dealmakers Awards

Our Corporate Finance team are delighted to have been shortlisted in a record number of categories in the 2021 South East Dealmakers Awards.

The team went from strength to strength in the past year despite the challenging situation, supporting clients on a wide range of transactions, both in terms of scale and sector. These included advising on several successful business disposals, providing cross-border due diligence and assisting several clients with funding requirements. We are very proud that all these achievements have been recognised with a nomination for the highly-prized Transaction Services Team of the Year award.

Knill James has also been shortlisted in the Deal of the Year (under £10 million) category for our tax and corporate finance advisory work on the sale of R T Williams Insurance Brokers and NIB Insurance Brokers to Green Insurance Group. This was a notably complex deal and we had to successfully overcome a number of challenges before it could take place.

Finally, our Corporate Finance Executive, Catherine Lambeth, is up for the Emerging Dealmaker award, in recognition of her outstanding performance and contribution to the team. Most notably, last year saw the completion of Catherine's first full lead advisory mandate and her involvement in setting up the Knill James Covid-19 'help desk' to advise clients on resilience and business planning during the pandemic.
