Knill James LLP are not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 but are able in certain circumstances to offer a limited range of investment services to clients because they are licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. We can provide these investment services if they are an incidental part of the professional services we have been engaged to provide.

If a conflict of interest should arise, either between two or more of our clients, or in the provision of multiple services to a single client, we will take such steps as are necessary to deal with the conflict. In resolving the conflict, we will be guided by the Code of Ethics of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales which can be viewed at www.icaew.com/membershandbook, section 3, sub-section 220. For all work the firm is subject to the Institute's Code of Ethics which can be found electronically at www.icaew.com/membershandbook section 3 and for audit work the APB Ethical Standards at www.frc.org.uk/apb/publications/ethical.cfm. These are both in English.

We may transfer your information outside the European Economic Area (EEA), e.g. to subcontractors. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the EEA, so if we do transfer your information we will take the necessary steps to ensure that your privacy rights are still protected.
