Reminder of the new shorter CJRS deadlines

The government's flagship support measure for organisations, the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme or Furlough Scheme, was extended in December until 30 April 2021.

But the deadlines for you to submit your claims for a furlough grant have been shortened and must now be submitted within two weeks of the month end after the month they are being claimed for. This means that the deadline to make a claim for furlough days in December is TOMORROW, Thursday 14 January. As a reminder, you are still able to make a claim during the month, up to 14 days in advance of payday.
