Knill James receives Wellbeing at Work award

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved Business in Sussex's Wellbeing at Work Commitment award.

As part of the award, we conducted a wellbeing survey to understand the needs of the workforce. One of the highlights was being able to present the results to the team, to demonstrate how the firm values each person's individual views, and to discuss actions based on the survey results.

We also ran two practical sessions following on from the survey – an introduction to mindfulness and a pilates session, which included exercises for good posture and ergonomics that could be done seated at a desk.

Our HR Manager, Tracey Tivey, has been working with our Wellbeing Champions, Michael Williams (Tax Manager) and Gemma Hanrahan (Tax Senior), to plan the campaigns and activities which will be run in 2023.

The firm's experience of the Wellbeing at Work programme has been extremely positive. Tracey commented: ''The framework provided has been great – we were already addressing our team's wellbeing, but the framework has given us a great structure to work within and enables us to direct our wellbeing initiatives in the best way to support the team.''
